AREA SALES MANAGER | CINCINNATI, OH 

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) works with existing/prospective merchants who are/will be enrolled as retail partners with ACIMA. ASMs enroll new merchants and train them on how to use ACIMA'S online portal to manage their applications, answer general questions, and provide program support to merchants. They are also responsible to manage the overall growth of the assigned territory. Because this growth is highly valued by Simple, ASMs typically start by earning a salary. Once the personal production and/or commissions generated exceed the salary, the ASMs will be commissioned based on lease production and on the growth of the merchants in the assigned territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Calling on and present to new prospects, visiting an average of 8-10 stores a week day. Calling merchants enrolled by the ASM to offer help on specific lease applications and CRM management of assigned merchants (via Salesforce.com). Pipeline management to help hit growth goals. Supporting underwriting department when issues arise with specific leases. Training merchants on program and the portal, and answering general questions about ACIMA'S processes.

Perform on-boarding and training of merchant's management and/or sales people; Manage merchant pipelines and provide ongoing training and support; Perform continuous follow up calls to increase program adoption by retailers; Provide support to inside sales representatives throughout the sales cycle; Manage the distribution of point of sale program materials.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for a large geographic and could include more than one state therefore requires frequent travel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate personal production through personal selling is as well as expert "farming" to assist our business partners in sales growth is expected.

  • Manages and grows sales through personal selling and business development to increase market share and strategic objectives
  • Develops and maintains client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
  • Develops and executes account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value
  • Cultivates customer relationships and ensures effective service delivery to accounts
  • Focuses on customer's satisfaction, knows the customer's business and workflows, develops proper contact network within accounts
  • Supports execution of strategy at the account and corporate level
  • Responsible for forecasting, keeps management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gathers intelligence on competitor activity, and gives feedback to business partners
  • Tracks customer and personal sales activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities
  • Will provide customer training on a regular basis
  • Accountable for individual expense budget management
  • Owns account relationship and drives overall customer satisfaction for assigned/sold accounts
  • Accountable for personal production standards

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven successful sales track record 6-10+ years of demonstrated success
  • Startup and cold call experience
  • Sales Force experience preferred
  • Cloud understanding
  • Solution sales experience
  • Direct the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying and positioning of Acima Credit products and services
  • Lead new business generation gathering referral business
  • Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and managing daily and weekly
