The Role 

We are looking for a high-energy Account Manager who is passionate about digital advertising and creating positive partner relationships. As an Account Manager on our team, you will be an integral part of the distribution process. In addition to your distribution efforts, you will have the opportunity to define team processes, onboard and recruit additional Account Managers and contribute to overall company strategy.

Responsibilities 

  • Promotion of new and existing demand opportunities to publishing partners through email, phone, social media etc
  • Analysis of publishers’ past performance while cross-referencing present demand to identify advertising opportunities
  • Establish strong personal relationships with publishing partners while collaborating on ways to increase distribution from their particular channel
  • Monitor publisher account activity daily, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, recommend ways to increase account-generated revenues and provide performance feedback to internal teams
  • Supply creative packages, links and reporting to publisher accounts as needed
  • Monitor compliance and provide feedback to publisher contacts and internal team
  • Proactively monitor marketing sources on all campaigns to ensure delivery expectations are met
  • Recruit new partners, clients and business through research, referrals and other avenues
  • Set and manage monthly, quarterly and annual goals for revenue growth
  • Represent Aptitude Media at industry conferences

Who You Are

  • Driven, self-motivated and a go-getter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to take direction well and follow through with responsibilities and deadlines
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Email
  • Ability to plan work to meet deadlines and unexpected situations and/or requests
  • Ability to effectively manage and build partner relationships
  • Ability to be agile and succeed in, as well as enjoy, a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains a healthy competitive spirit

Experience & Background

  • At least 2 years of active Account Management within a Creative, Online Marketing or Agency environment
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited University
