We are looking for the ideal candidate to join our team who generates the bulk of their business by providing professional financial services in the residential purchase market. Our Loan Officer will have the opportunity to work independently to create and develop relationships with borrowers, realtors, builders, developers, personal contacts, and other valuable referral sources. They have a unique opportunity to grow maintaining a high standard in customer service and professional ethics and will report directly to the Area Sales Manager. Opportunity to work remotely.
Tasks & Duties
•Pre-qualify client files within specified limits based on Fannie, Freddie and Jimmie direct based guidelines (no over-lays).
•Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of approving borrowers.
•Obtain and compile copies of supporting documents through our automated documents portal.
•Complete loan applications and submit to full disclosure department to be generated.
•Remain educated on loan types and financial services and products in order to meet customer needs.
Required Skills & Experience
•2+ years or licensed loan origination
•A current active license
•Continued education completed for 2016
•Ability to analyze financial data and comprehend market fluctuations
•Working knowledge of lending guidelines and a thorough understanding of the process and procedures
