Telephone Representative | Manhattan, NY

At the heart of DCM's success is the Telephone Representative or "Caller”. In this part time position, callers will contact hundreds of patrons on behalf of a client. For those patrons, the Telephone Representative is the voice of our client’s organization and it is vital that each Caller represent the client organization to the best of their ability. A winning and professional attitude, excellent product knowledge, and a sincere love of the arts are the skills required for the Telephone Representative. The typical Telephone Representative works an average of 20 hours per week and in the evening and on weekends. The Telephone Representative will not cold call and will be responsible for the following daily tasks. 

  • Call in-house and select trade lists provided by the client with the specific purpose of selling subscriptions or securing a gift for the client
  • Keep log or record of all calls made
  • Follow up with callbacks as scheduled

Experience and Background

  • Experience in, knowledge of, or appreciation for symphonic repertoire
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic and engaging phone manner
  • Telemarketing experience preferred
