INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE | PLANO, TX
The position of Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for wholesale production growth in an assigned territory aligned with an outside field sales team. The ISR will work in a team environment supporting the teams’ needs and the needs of all Wholesale Lending clients. The ability to build and maintain relationships in this role is key.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior mortgage sales experience or business development experience preferred
- Candidates should be well-versed in cold calling techniques
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong desire to excel in a competitive environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, disciplined, and accountable for results
- Represent FGMC in a professional manner providing world class customer service to FGMC’s customers
- Acquire new clients through phone and email communication through outbound communication.
- Manage customer relationships within the assigned territory, aligned jointly with field account executives
- Network and prospect for new clients and identify opportunities to cultivate new client relationships from prospect lists provided as well as individual prospecting techniques.
- Present loan products and pricing to Mortgage Brokers and assist brokers offering FGMC’s loan products to their customers to expand FGMC’s national footprint
- Able to interact well within a team concept with aligned field AEs, clients, FGMC’s support and operations staff
- Manage the client approval and recertification process
- Manage aspects of the pipeline as needed or as assigned by management (i.e. registered loans not delivered, lock expiration, closing dates, etc).
- Provide assistance to FGMC wholesale clients on scenarios, loan submission, training and direction as needed on loan transactions.
- Drive business partners to the website and web portal to source business.
- Perform other duties as assigned as assigned by sales management to support client relationships and drive additional business from new and existing clients.
- Keep current on company training, product knowledge and First Guaranty Mortgage policies
- Interact well within a team concept collaboratively with aligned field sales staff, operations and support staff
