Full Stack - Front End Developer

We are looking for motivated, passionate, fearless (but not reckless) software talent to help fill out our Indianapolis team. In this role you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Integral part of the application development team, with special emphasis on implementing the user interface design in front-end application code (ECMAScript 6, Ember.js, Node.js, CSS, HTML, etc.).
  • Maintains and  modifies existing software to correct errors, incorporate new features, and improve its performance.
  • Participates in development team SDLC process (daily scrums, bi-weekly releases, user story mapping)
  • Adheres to, and helps to maintain and update, the Development Process
  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Responsible, along with the entire development and management team, for following and advancing company-wide Quality initiatives, including automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment 
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and development team to define and maintain a comprehensive catalog of application Domain Objects
  • Maintains an understanding of and adherence to FDA and other relevant regulatory frameworks and guidelines required by’s customer base to comply with these regulatory bodies  
  • Assists in design and development of back-end RESTful API and coding of repository services as needed
  • Assists in the the development, implementation, and maintenance of dev-ops systems and artifacts such as: build scripts, package management modules, deployment frameworks, etc. as needed
  • Collaborates on Application/Framework design and architecture as needed
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Experience and Background

  • Proven results and demonstrable expertise in a  modern JavaScript ecosystem
  • Experience with interface design in front-end application code
  • Proficient with MV* frameworks, Node/NPM, build and package management tools like grunt/ or bower
  • Entrepreneurial-minded background
