We are seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our quickly growing team in Boston. In this core role, you will work on all parts of our product. This is a great opportunity to join a productive, lean, and smart team and make a big difference in a startup environment.

You are a maker of functional, maintainable software. You understand when it's best to bang out version 1 fast, and when it’s time to learn from what worked and refactor or cull some code. You judge your success not by technical grandeur but by problems solved and user needs met. You have opinions about what works and what might be overkill, but you’re happy to discuss them. You’re eager to tackle a variety of challenges and work with people across our product, marketing, recruiting, and sales teams to get it right.

In this role you will deliver key features for our customers and internal users, ranging from new interfaces for candidates to marketing automation systems to refinements to our matching algorithms. You’ll work collaboratively with our dev team as well as stakeholders throughout the company.

  • Python 3 + Django + PostgreSQL on the backend, hosted on Heroku.
  • Bootstrap3 + WebRTC + jQuery on the frontend (with React/Angular/Ember likely coming soon - have an opinion? Let us know!)

  • You have a software development background with 2+ years experience in web application development.
  • Familiar with a web framework such as Django, Rails, Phoenix, Meteor, etc.
  • Driven to figure things out, but never shy to ask for a second pair of eyes if you get stuck.
  • Energetic, hard-working, creative and open-minded – eager to produce great software and get it in the hands of users.

  • Make your own work environment: get the computer, monitor, desk, etc. that suit you.
  • Cool office in Central Square, well-stocked with snacks, drinks, and interesting people.
  • Work with an amazing team that wants to learn from you and help you learn. Be a crucial part of a quickly growing company.
