What you'll be doing

As a Real Estate Consultant with HomeScout Realty, your goal is to help clients find their perfect home in a timely and professional manner. Through our extensive industry-leading resources, mentorship program, one week on-boarding, and continuous training, consultants are able to gain valuable selling skills and grow a large book of business. The best consultants are community-oriented, great at networking, both online and offline, and enjoy meeting new people. Consultants at HomeScout Realty enjoy a great work/life balance. We are looking for both experienced agents, as well as brand new.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads
  • Become an expert on Chicago and the real estate market
  • Advise clients on neighborhoods, properties, and the city
  • Maintain relationships with previous clients
  • Attend networking events regularly to build your personal network
  • Maintain correct and up-to-date usage of office systems and technology

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (not required)
  • At least one year of sales or related work experience preferred
  • Daily access to a car plus a good driving record
  • Willingness and availability to work nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to set big goals and take massive action in pursuit of goals
  • Self-motivated to find clients and work with minimal daily supervision
  • Strong people skills and ability to build relationships
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • A passion for setting big goals & taking massive action to achieve them 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Generous commission splits with the ability to move up fast
  • No fixed expenses (we pay desk fees, transaction fees, and E&O insurance)
  • Comprehensive CRM, transaction software, and website provided to every employee
  • Since this is a commission-based job, you can make a little or a lot!  You should expect to make $35k - $45k in your first year, $55k - $70k in your second year, and six figures by year three.  You can certainly make more (or less) depending on effort.  This is a career where YOU decide on your level of success.  If you have high work ethic and set a compensation goal, we’ll make sure you achieve it.
