The Project Specialist (PS) leads the search for commercial construction project data (or information) for the use of tracking projects in the design phase all the way through generating quotes/estimates for our customers and even into post-bid follow up. Candidates for this position must have a history of demonstrated project and process management and thrive in a team environment.  Industry experience is not required as we offer a rigorous training program to assure that the incoming PS will have the tools necessary to be successful. The required competencies for this position are: technical aptitude and applied learning, balanced and focused organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent oral & written communication skills, selling skills, teamwork and integrity. The position reports directly to the Project Opportunity Manager and is responsible for the following: 

  • Work in a MS Windows environment which would include various web based project search services, Database Management, Word, Excel, Outlook; Ability to learn new software and cloud based systems
  • Discover and research construction projects that are in the design phase to bid/quote stage and loading the project data into SalesView, our project tracking and sales pipeline software platform
  • Disseminate project information to the sales team and customers via SalesView reporting, quote generation and follow-up functions
  • Participate and be an integral part of our sales process. The PS will work daily with sales representatives, architects, contractors, and distributors on specification development and interpretation, project planning and design, and follow up support
  • Communicate with teammates, leadership and customers effectively and professionally
  • Coordinate and manage our pricing processes, documentation and customer quotes


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Construction and architectural experience 
  • Familiarity with commercial building products 
  • Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook
