Outside Sales Executive

We are seeking passionate, competitive and ethical Outside Sales Executive professionals to close sales of our merchant services solutions within the Los Angeles metro area. Located in Koreatown, this is an excellent opportunity to work under the guidance and training of seasoned executive sales leadership for a company with a proven track record in financial services.

In this role, you will target small business owners through face-to-face prospecting in a wide variety of vertical markets (restaurants, retail, convenience, medical, lodging, auto repair, salon, etc.) as defined by assigned sales territories within Los Angeles and the surrounding metro. Leveraging the provided sales presentations and supporting marketing materials (via tablets when possible) you will drive and close short-cycle sales processes and complete paperless contract processing. Key products include electronic card payment processing and payment gateway/terminal leasing.  

This is a door-to-door sales role that requires comfort with cold-calling and demonstrated experience and success with pipeline building and lead closure.


  • Prospect for and run dynamic sales presentations within designated weekly sales territories
  • Exemplify solid knowledge of and educate merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry
  • Explain our value proposition to prospective customers leveraging provided digital/physical sales tools and materials
  • Serve as a consultant to prospective merchants, recommending solutions that can drive cost savings and revenue growth
  • Close sales of our payment processing services (card processing, gateway/terminal equipment leasing)
  • Complete associated paperwork with each new account in a timely manner in order to ensure all details of the contracts are accurately recorded


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • College/Trade/Vocational degree preferred
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience required
  • 6+ months of door-to-door canvassing/pipeline-building experience highly preferred


  • Intrinsically motivated with a high sense of urgency to drive results through achievement of sales targets
  • Must enjoy face-to-face cold-calling and networking 
  • Able to prospect and manage multiple accounts within a sales pipeline simultaneously and take on additional ad hoc projects as necessary
  • Maintain a pleasant, approachable and professional demeanor through the sales process using good judgment to respond to requests and objections both directly yet sensitively. Use active listening skills or attend to non-verbal cues to better understand the merchants' perspectives
  • Exude confidence, expertise and excitement through presentation of the company’s processing solutions
  • Proactively exceed customer expectations by proposing opportunistic merchant solutions
  • Able to follow instructions, take action and work well independently as well as work as part of a team
  • Able to communicate clearly both in written and verbal speech
  • Bilingual highly preferred

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
