SOLAR CONSULTANT | HICKSVILLE, NY

Level Solar is looking for passionate individuals who want to help homeowners save money and protect the environment with lower cost, clean solar energy. There is no upfront cost to our program, making it easy for anyone to go solar. Earn money and make a difference at the same time, for you, your community and for the world!

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be part of a world class team that is responsible for educating home owners about the benefits of going solar, and inspiring them to take action!

You will generate qualified leads in your area, meet with homeowners in their homes, explain the benefits of solar energy, and help homeowners transition to lower cost clean energy. You will provide a great customer experience throughout the entire process, generating referrals to expand your reach and impact. You will also attend regular meetings and trainings with the sales manager and fellow Solar Sales Consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and demonstrate a deep understanding of solar energy and Level Solar's energy savings program
  • Generate leads through outreach in your community
  • Meet with homeowners in their homes to explain the benefits of solar energy and show them their savings
  • Successfully convert in home presentations into new customer sales
  • Follow-up on referrals to generate new customers
  • Network and expand your customer base
  • Live Level Solar core values: Quality, Integrity, Safety, Unity, Agility, Responsibility and Positivity
  • Provide the highest level of professionalism and customer service
  • Attend regular meetings with your manager and your team to learn more about our product offerings, track our progress to goals, and build skills

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent people and networking skills
  • Proven sales track record
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems in the moment
  • Must be flexible working weekend and evening hours
  • Valid state driver's license, clean DMV driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Prior sales experience a plus, training will be provided
