Social Sales Coordinator | Napa County, CA

Meadowood Napa Valley is actively seeking a Social Sales Coordinator to join our team! This position will serve as the point of contact and primary source of information for Meadowood guests of Social groups before, during and after their stay. Build strong and meaningful relationships with our guests that bring them back to Meadowood again and again; instilling in them the confidence to refer the property without hesitation to their friends, family members and colleagues.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Social Sales Manager to ensure a high standard of service provided to guests of Social groups
  • Act as the property liaison for guests and create personalized stay through itinerary development
  • Actively show care and concern for the needs of Meadowood guests
  • Serve as advocate for guests and ambassadors for Meadowood, The Napa Valley Reserve and Promontory
  • Offer anticipatory service for guests prior, during and after their stay
  • Maintain accurate vendor information and current property offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and future guests
  • Build and maintain relationships in the Napa Valley community (wineries, restaurants, arts organizations, transportation providers)
  • Nourish the working relationships and partnerships Meadowood has with local vendors and internal departments
  • Promote and convert sales of Meadowood experiences, including but not limited to: Spa, Golf, Dining, Croquet, Wine Experiences, Culinary Experiences, Estate Events, Retail, Amenities
  • Identify opportunities for revenue maximization for guests of Social Groups (upsell rooms, on-property ancillary spend, spouse activities) and work with the Social Sales Manager to capture this revenue
  • Assist Social Sales Manager with creation of group resumes and the dissemination of pertinent information to operating departments
  • Learn the process and best practices of inquiry, proposal, contract phases of the sales process
  • Learn the business impact of Social Blocks within the overall Rooms Revenue mix and how to analyze
  • business and yield the maximum revenue in order to achieve budget targets

PRODUCT/SERVICE

  • Maintain core standards and exemplify Meadowood culture
  • Organize and monitor the guest experience prior, during and after their stay
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Social Group guests and be liaison for Meadowood and Napa Valley
  • Maintain knowledge to actively sell Meadowood venues to the guest, including sporting outlets and wine & cuisine
  • Research new business opportunities to enhance the guest experience, nourish current partnerships
  • Develop revenue opportunity by growing repeat leisure guest stays and on property spending
  • Provide analysis and data of guest experience including revenue generation, repeat stay data and guest
  • experience (good stories and lessons learned)
  • Ensure that all guest preference and requests are noted in the guest data base.

Background and Experience

  • 3+ years of guest service experience, preferable in luxury hotel or hospitality setting
  • BA/BS in related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to also communicate in Spanish preferred
  • Ability to apply special training, experience and knowledge with only general supervision
  • Ability to exercise strong discretion and good judgment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Warm, gracious and professional attitude
  • Ability to exercise discretion and guard the privacy of guests
  • Ability to effectively apply independent judgment in all situations
