The Role

The Advanced Engineering Designer performs Computer-Aided Design (CAD) activities aimed to optimize part “castability” and tooling design.The position will work together with Customer engineers, Nemak’s Advanced Engineering Project Leaders and Advanced Simulation engineer during the first phases of Part Design. There is also an opportunity for a relocation package for any qualified candidate interested in moving for this role.


• Performs computer-aided design (CAD) activities aimed to elaborate the 3D product and tooling models needed to make Casting computer simulations while working together with Nemak’s

• Performs computer-aided design (CAD) activities aimed to design products required to cast prototype parts. As well as the design of the tooling required to produce each core while working together with Nemak’s Advanced engineering Project Leaders and Rapid Prototyping Engineer.


  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Die design using software NX and /or CATIA
  • Well-developed understanding of Die design
  • Ability to read and understand product design drawings
