PROJECT MANAGER | CHICAGO, IL
Reporting to the Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the operations and strategic initiatives of the Measure Development Operations program, by serving as lead on measure development, maintenance and endorsement projects. The Project Manager will support seamless program delivery by leading projects and working with the PCPI membership. The Project Manager will represent the PCPI on external initiatives (eg NQF, HL7, ONC committees) and serve as a liaison to PCPI stakeholders.
Provide content expertise to advance the work of the PCPI program
Serve as project lead or support PCPI projects or consulting engagements
Work with Director or Sr. Program Manager to define project scope, goals and deliverables
Work with Director or Sr. Program Manager to communicate project expectations to clients, collaborators and team members
Work with Director or Sr. Program Manager to document and communicate project status including timeline, issues, successes and risks
Support the Director with PCPI business development including proposal development, preparation of statement of work and resource allocation (human, fiscal, technical)
Represent the PCPI on external committees (eg NQF, HL7, ONC )
Work collaboratively with a high-performance management team
Support the program director with maintaining and cultivating relationships with PCPI members
Serve as adjunct staff for respective PCPI committee or council
Background & Experience
Minimum of a BA, BS, MA preferred
At least 3 years of work experience in the program discipline
Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group
Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with others
Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
Strong presentation, public speaking, and writing skills, especially the ability to conceptualize issues, synthesize a response and write/develop reports.
