RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Office for Profitability: With an eye on incoming revenue and outgoing expenses, make strategic decisions that impact the office’s bottom line. Track agent production and work with General Manager to identify agents who need extra support to reach their sales goals. Collaborate with vendors to reduce or share costs. Regularly audit expenses to identify areas of cost saving.
 
Accounting and Financial Record Keeping: Bookkeeping, Payroll management, AP/AR, GL/bank reconciliations, purchasing, cash management, collections, expense reporting, credit card processing and allocations, month-end closing, and financial analysis.
 
Human Resources Function: Manage records, interview, hire and manage staff, generate recruiting numbers reports, on-board new agents, work to retain agents, manage education calendar, coordinate and manage events, and facilitate team meetings.
 
Compliance and Transaction Management: Ensure file compliance, process closings and issue commission checks, report on profit share returns, and handle commission matters. 
 
Office Administration: Oversee the adherence to corporate compliance, facility upkeep, coordinate with property managers, manage standard operating procedures, order/track of office supplies, implement and manage new technology, train agents on this technology, and assist the Team Leader as needed.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • A leader who knows how to hold others accountable; self-starter, willing to take charge with little supervision
  • High level of professionalism and present yourself as such
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized (loves spreadsheets, checklists and time-blocking)
  • Thick-skinned and open to receiving sound advice
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Accounting systems
