Location is a minor detail with Proforma in New York. Although most Sales Representatives choose to work from home, if you need to work from an office, we have 44 locations to choose from. Our greatest needs are in the NYC area, but we can gladly accommodate people in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany and Binghamton areas as well. In addition to New York, we also have 84 locations in the surrounding states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Hampshire.


The Promotional Products Sales Representative is responsible for high energy business to business sales calls, marketing print, promotional products, corporate apparel programs, e-commerce fulfillment programs, and creative marketing solutions to varying sized companies. Each day you will be expected to do the following: 

  • Conduct Business to Business sales calls daily with the desire to set face to face appointments
  • Call on prospective customers to obtain their business as well as manage existing business
  • Track and report all sales activity
  • Build customer book of business through all forms of sales generation and mediums


  • Promotional products experience is a must
  • Candidates with an existing book of business are preferred
  • Prior Business to Business outside sales experience (minimum 1-2 years)
  • Experience with cold calling, networking, and business development skills
  • Motivation and desire to grow your account base


  • Every level of sales support including coaching, lead generation, marketing campaigns, order entry support, billing/collections support, etc.
  • Aggressive pricing/exclusive programs from our network of suppliers to help you get more business/increase commissions
  • Financial strength to handle any size order/account and a department dedicated to landing large/national accounts
