Fire Prevention Technician | Seattle, WA

R &T Hood and Duct Services, Inc. is looking for a Fire Prevention Technician who wil be responsible for servicing a route while interacting with clients, performing inspection, performing testing and maintenance tasks, and repairing and installing various types of fire suppression systems. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and a professional demeanor; we are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude, initiative, and great communication skills!


In this role, your responsibilities will include cleaning hoods, ducts and fans in commercial kitchens. No experience necessary. We work around most schedules, although the majority of work is done in the evening (swing shift), at night (grave yard shift), or during the early morning.

Background and Experience

  • No experience in fire prevention industry
  • Must have valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Maintain flexible schedule (including ability to work at night)
  • Ability to speak English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude
