Inside Sales Representative

This highly motivated person will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for Microsoft CRM and Salesforce.com software and our professional consulting services to enterprise and mid-market businesses through outbound calls. You will be responsible for the beginning stages of the sales process, including researching leads, calling into accounts to invite contacts to events, and qualifying prospects. As an inside sales representative, you’ll be finding new opportunities for a very hot product with the Microsoft and Salesforce.com names backed by a consulting firm that is highly specialized and widely recognized for our experience with the product. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research target  C-Suite accounts in alignment with Sonoma Partners Account Executives
  • Run skype and phone meetings with prospective clients
  • Manage the pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Qualify inbound sales inquiries through various channels
  • Assist in managing marketing events/seminars
  • Conduct daily calls into target account to identify key decision makers and invite to events
  • Utilize various social media, internal database and web platforms to target accounts and build contact lists
  • Send weekly nurturd emails to targeted accounts
  • Maintain Alpha/Beta Account records; contact them routinely to strategize a game plan after intial contact
  • Help facilitate RFP process

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1 year business-to-business outbound call environment experience
  • Polished phone presence
  • Must be able to establish credibility with C-level executives
  • Enjoy working with technology and have the ability to learn technical areas of software related to sales
  • Highly motivated and dependable, a true self-starter
  • Enjoy working at a growing entrepreneurial company
  • College degree, verifiable by transcripts
  • Ability to become familiar and comfortable with CRM knowledge in the first 30 days

The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with our Account Executives, Marketing Manager and Business Development Representatives. The Inside Sales Representative's ultimate goal is to move into the Business Development Representative position and then ultimately into an Account Executive.
