The Business Development Representative role is responsible for making initial contact with customers, building rapport and value and booking meetings for the account executive team. They will work with the account representatives to understand and execute the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Tectrade’s sales messaging and communicate effectively to Customers and Partners at C-Suite level
  • Profile, target and call whitespace customers with a view to booking qualified appointments
  • Represent Tectrade in a professional way and continually demonstrate a sound technical understanding of our solutions and the needs of our customers to display our key differentiator over the competition
  • Responsible for meeting all agreed performance metrics
  • Maintain detailed technical knowledge of all relevant services, infrastructure and products offerings
  • Ensure sales documentation is completed on time and in line with the appropriate company standards
  • Expectation to successfully complete the Tectrade Sales Training Program
  • Continual learning and education to develop sales skills and better understand Customer industries and business
  • Represent the company to our Customers in the most professional way and continually ensure the delivery of operational excellence within every engagement
