Based on Teq’s 6 Levels of Sales, our intense program will teach you how to become an expert at selling into the education vertical focusing on everything from SMART Boards to the software and technologies that power collaborative learning.

Those who succeed at Teq are highly competitive, driven performers who are hyper focused on the daily activities that produce measurable results.  They thrive in a competitive environment and enjoy the feeling of being on top of the leader board.Since the implementation of our Inside Sales Rep program and training, our team has sold over $200mm in classroom solutions. Inside Sales Reps who achieve their target earnings can achieve upwards of $100k+ in their first year, and have the potential for advancement into a Field Rep position within 12 to 16 months. On target Outside Field Reps earn up to $200k +.

We pride ourselves on supporting our schools with a unique blend of experienced service, innovative products, and incomparable support, while fostering passion and creativity in the twenty-first century learning environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and grow existing client base
  • Schedule field visits for Outside Sales Reps
  • Forecast and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets
  • Participate in ongoing sales, business and technical training
  • Responsible for 75 calls per day and 3 hours of talk time
  • Schedule 10 qualified site visits per week
  • Must achieve monthly activity metrics, pipeline targets, and revenue targets
  • Complete 7 Web Demo’s per week
  • Successfully complete monthly product training, comprised of product assessments and Sales Challenges

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree combined with the ambition to begin a sales career.
  • Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Must be a self-starter able to multi-task and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills resulting in the ability to influence others.
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.
  • Must be mature and confident with strong interpersonal skills and a true team player
  • Concurrent with your educational pursuits, a history of extracurricular is preferred.

  • Salary and Wage: Competitive Base Salary + Commission + Bonus
