Entry Level Marketing Manager – Terrapinn Inc.


Terrapinn USA is seeking a Marketing Manager to be based at our New York office to work across our event portfolio.

Terrapinn specialises in the media and communication sector and is owned by Terrapinn Group and requires an ambitious and motivated individual to join a small team marketing our portfolio of publishing products, conferences and award programmes.

Terrapinn is a well know brand in the events sector having been established since 1997 with a portfolio of events  including World Orphan Drug Congress USA, Home Delivery World, Trading Show Chicago and Aviation Festival Americas– in total we will produce 15 major events in 2017.

The successful candidate will be a graduate with some experience of campaign based multichannel B2B marketing. A background in events or publishing is an advantage, but not essential, as is knowledge of running email and social media campaigns.

The role will be based at our offices in Manhattan and may involve some travel to events. The Marketing Manager role will report to the Marketing Director of the Americas and will involve working closely with commercial and content teams.

The role of the Marketing Manager evolves with our product portfolio and current approaches in marketing, but is likely to include the following elements.


  • Develop the marketing plan for each event in line with the Terrapinn group template
  • Manage the event marketing budget
  • Ensure each event has a website, building and maintain via a templated tool
  • Develop event branding and message
  • Set up email campaigns and select appropriate campaign data
  • Data build for each event - including list research, data acquisition
  • Develop and fulfil social media campaigns - organic and paid
  • Create or commission banners and adverts as required
  • Organise event brochures and associated publications and collateral
  • Copy writing as required
  • Drive delegate and entry acquisition plans
  • Support the SPEX effort
  • Onsite support as required - including video interviewing
  • Develop media & knowledge partnerships
  • Manage Press and PR event registration
  • Monitor and report on analytics from websites, email etc. 


  • Develop and deliver campaigns to drive web traffic and email newsletter signups via Registration promotions, Email campaigns, Social media, Other marketing tools


  • Work with the sales, production and editorial teams
  • Develop sector knowledge
  • Keep abreast of marketing best practice and new opportunities
  • Eloqua/ Salesforce experience
