TheStreet, an award-winning financial media company recently named on Folio’s list of Top Places to Work in Media, is seeking to expand their inside sales department. The successful candidate will spend time working with existing accounts and warm leads to understand their investment styles in order to recommend the TheStreet’ s premium product lines that can best help that investor make money. Base salary of $30,000 with an opportunity to make between $65,000 to $100,000 plus benefits in your first year.

Our clients are influential, active investors around the world. The ideal candidate has to be committed to creating long-term subscription relationships and customer accounts. This is a fast-paced and innovative environment, often with multiple competing deadlines so the ability to diligently multi-task is a valuable skill.   • Develop leads to generate new sales through outbound and inbound telephone calls
  • Build upon relationships within existing accounts to upgrade into more sophisticated investment products and drive new business ideas across various product lines
  • Within dedicated inside sales accounts and territories, service as the primary contact for TheStreet’ s clients regarding sales, revenues, campaign delivery and account management, such as adding to or updating accounts
  • Assess customer needs, prepare proposals and send out samples when appropriate
  • Update commerce system to accurately reflect all client interactions
  • Provide weekly reports summarizing all QC and timing issues and subscription cancellations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Great team member who can collaborate with others on the sales team to deliver best-in-class service to our clients


  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience
