Thirst Project is the world’s largest  youth water organization. We exist to educate students about the water crisis and mobilize them to fundraise for global water projects. Since 2008, we've funded 1,977 clean water projects that have provided safe, clean water for life to more than 302,000 people in 13 countries. We plan to double that in the next two years. To deliver on that goal, we’re building a best-in-class team of hella smart people ready to roll up their sleeves (or their skinny jeans) and grow with us. We believe in hiring people who are smart, solution-oriented, a little weird, and ambitious. We can teach you the skills, as long as you bring the passion and cookies; preferably the chewy kind. Oh, and we don’t require a college degree because, life. You’ll get to work alongside every member of our tight-knit Taylor Swift-obsessed team while learning how a best-in-class student organization is built from the ground up.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail oriented individual with a passion for the global water crisis. This individual will play a significant role in making us look as sexy as possible, while doing good. Our designer must be a team player in a highly collaborative and fast-paced working environment. We have loads of fun, but you gotta know when to get down to business. This individual can produce quality content under strict deadlines. You could be designing an info card for a student fundraiser, merchandise to be sold on our School Tour, or a step-and-repeat for one of our A-List events. The mediums are endless. Our designer must be able to talk with printers, match pantones, and know what works well for different environments. If you love Blue Sky exercises, are constantly browsing Pinterest, and have a thang for typography, we want you!*Side note: Must love cookies (especially Milk Jar cookies).

Most importantly, you’ve gotta love young people and know what young people love. We exist to serve young people, mainly students, so you must be with it on all of the latest trends or Snapchat updates. With that being said, we are looking for a rad designer who has an eye for relevant, bold, and clean design. This person must be equally stoked to help people get access to clean water!
