The Role

The Producing Branch Manager at ULC will manage Loan Officers and monitor sales in relation to branch goals and profitability. The Branch Manager is responsible for quota of residential loans, branch operations, functions and personnel. This position is ideal for someone looking to enter a company with an exciting culture, that fosters huge growth, or a senior loan officer looking for the next step. We are looking for Branch Managers in Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont/Boulder.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the sales activities of LO’s.
  • Provide coaching/mentoring in the development of sales methods and goals for each LO.
  • Generate, coordinate and promote sales activities, while identifying areas for growth, and analyzing previous efforts.
  • Develop a plan and method to generate business throughout the various cycles of mortgage banking.  
  • Monitor and is accountable for branch profit/expenses.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Supervises all branch personnel including recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, mentoring and coaching, rewards, training, work allocation and problem resolution.
  • Recruits and hires new and experienced loan officers on a systematic and continuous basis to grow the branch.
  • Assists in the annual budget planning process and regularly monitors expenditures.

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years of experience in residential loan origination, with knowledge of sales management and marketing.
  • Proven history of success as loan producer.
  • Previous Management Experience is preferred.
  • Decision making skill with ability to draw conclusions from investigation and information analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, writing skills and organizational skills.
  • Have the ability to evaluate, suggest and implement change.
  • Experience in product mix.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Encompass, Chrome Excel, and Word.
